Roy John McNatt, Jr. served as Miller County Judge from 2005-2010. He was re-elected in November 2016 and began service January 1, 2017. Maintaining and improving the county roads are some of his top priorities. Keeping the roads safe for school buses, mail delivery, emergency vehicles, and all the people traveling these roads are very important.

Judge McNatt is a lifelong resident of Miller County and a dairy farmer. He is a member of Unity Baptist Church. He has been married for 49 years to Barbara McBryde McNatt. They have two children and three grandchildren.

As Chief Executive Officer for Miller County, his duties include the authorization, approval and disbursement of all appropriated county funds, county court, custodian of county property, and administrator of ordinances enacted by the Quorum Court. The Judge is also in charge of operations of the system of county roads, accepting grants from federal, state, public, and private sources. He hires county employees, except those persons employed by other elected officials, and he presides over the Quorum Court, without a vote but with the power of veto. As County Judge, he must apply for all federal and state assistance monies for which the county is eligible. He appoints members to all administrative and advisory boards in the county.
