The Miller County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for a motivated, detail-oriented front desk receptionist who must be able to multi-task. Deadline for applications is May 21st, 2012.

Responsibilities will include greeting customers, answering, screening, and directing all incoming calls, receive, sort and date stamp mail, receive incoming faxes and sort for distribution, typing documents, coordinating information with other departments, and other duties.

Experience: Some experience performing clerical duties and working with the public. Basic computer skills needed. High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification is a must. Background check is required.

EARLY VOTING OPENS TODAY 05/07/12 FOR ARKANSAS

Early voting in Arkansas begins today and continues through May 21, says Ann Nicholas, county clerk and voter registrar.

Early voting is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

On Monday, May 21, 2012 voting ends at 5 p.m.

BURN BAS HAS BEEN LIFTED

The burn ban has been lifted due to a change in weather conditions.  However, conditions are not optimal for outside burning, please use extreme caution and do not burn during high winds. 

This burn ban could be reinstated at any time - please check back often.  Thank you.
